AMX
International Creates MPS and J. D. Edwards Integration |

| (WASHINGTON,
DC, June 5, 2000)--Meridian Project Systems (MPS) announced today that
it has established a strategic relationship with J.D. Edwards to develop
an accounting integration element. MPS, the premier provider of software
and e-Business solutions for the architectural, engineering and construction
(AEC) industry, has joined J.D. Edwards, the leading ERP solution in the
AEC market, and AMX International, a J. D. Edwards Select Consulting Alliance
Partner and leader in the Enterprise Management and Information Technology
industry to develop the first functional interface system of its kind -
the AMX Prolog Adapter.
J.D. Edwards' OneWorld and Meridian Project System's Prolog Manager software have served as best-of-breed products in the AEC industry for many years. These two robust solutions provide increased functionality for managing business operations and processes for thousands of clients worldwide; however, the two solutions have never been connected with a functional system interface until now. The robust nature of the AMX Prolog Adapter provides clients with many value-add benefits including eliminating duplicate data entry within J.D. Edwards and Prolog Manager, providing enhanced data integrity, and streamlining communication, all with minimal administration and maintenance requirements. "AMX Prolog Adapter will revolutionize the way projects are managed in the AEC industry," said Al Marshall, Vice President of Marketing for MPS. "The accounting integration element will give Prolog Manager's cost control features enhanced ease of use and will greatly add to the general functionality of the software." The integration piece allows users a single point of data entry thus reducing the current time and money that incurs due to duplication of entry information on both the accounting and project management sides. Project offices and job sites will be able to instantly share and receive the most current information, and therefore standardize the communication process between the office and job site. "The integration of J. D. Edwards OneWorld and Meridian Prolog Manager provides the AEC industry with electronic information sharing capabilities between the project job site and the central office. The AMX Prolog Adapter provides clients with increased business value and a rapid return on investment by offering opportunities to control cost, enhance functionality, and ultimately create more efficient business processes," says Rick Stamps, Solutions Manager for Strategic Alliance Integration, AMX. "AMX has a proven track record of providing quality J. D. Edwards e-Business collaboration solutions on time and within budget." AMX Prolog Adapter is expected to be released for general use during the fourth quarter of 2000.
