INTRODUCTION
Every
AutoCAD user has, at one time or another, been frustrated by the
wait required to load a large drawing file. This wait is particularly
irritating if the change you are planning to make only affects a
small portion of the drawing.
In this
lesson you master the skills required to open only a portion of
a large drawing file. You also learn how to load additional geometry
and when you need it.
Topics
covered in this project include:
-
Using
OPEN to open part of a drawing file.
-
Using
PARTIALOAD to add additional geometry and when it's required.
-
How
to create and maintain drawings that make effective use of these features.
By the time
you complete this project, you should find working with large drawing
files substantially easier.
