Vulcan spatial measurement system, a product for three dimensional
measurement applications. Users can quickly and easily inspect, position,
and create digital models of complicated shapes, objects, and work
sites. Vulcan consists of three primary components: laser transmitters,
measurement tools, and a Pocket PC. The measurement tools measure
and monitor positions within an invisible, 3D light grid created by
the laser transmitters. The user controls the systme with the Pocket
PC, which has an intuitive graphical user interface that is activated
by a touch screen.
